Summary:The flat strip printed material (9) is wound onto a narrow reel core (8) using a spacer strip (11) between the layers. The spacer strip is narrower than the reel core, which is narrower than the material. The full reels are stored with a sloping stacked array with other reels. The reels are pressed into a sloping setting by the handling equipment prior to pushing into a compact stack. This is achieved by compressing the layers on one side. ADVANTAGE - Compact storage, maximum access.
