Summary:In this process, compact material, separated oil and largely purified water are produced from the material supplied in a plant consisting of a reception part (1), decanting part (2) and fine-filter part (3) by gravity separation, coarse filtration, drying and by coalescence, adsorption and fine filtration. Gravel and filter mats are used as filter materials. Drying takes place under weather protection by natural evaporation, and the flow through the plant is by free gradient. In contrast to the known techniques, the process manages with a minimum of mechanical equipment, for example pumps, and without energy consumption.
