Summary:A stepping motor which is constructed in a dust-tight manner and has a stator part and a rotor (3) in a housing (6) which is constructed from two identical parts (4, 5) has a pinion (22) which is arranged outside the housing (6) on the rotor shaft (18) which projects out of the housing (6) through a central opening (11). The housing is held together by means of a tubular rivet (23) or a stud (25) with a shoulder (26), and is connected to a work surface (10) with the aid of a screw (24) which can be inserted through the tubular rivet (23), or with the aid of a thread (28) on the stud (25) and a nut (29). An attachment (8) on the central opening (7) of the housing (6) is used for centring the stepping motor while it is being connected to the work surface (10).
