Summary: | The train consists of a series of rigid modular rings (1) between which there are interposed elastic joints, capable of transmitting tensile and compressive forces. The seats (8) inside the rigid rings are coupled together in pairs, back to back, and suspended from pivots (9) allowing them to tilt laterally under the action of centrifugal force in bends. Supporting wheels (10) and guiding wheels (11) are arranged at the height of the centre of gravity, or above. The assembly is pulled by an engine element carrying a turbo jet which can be retracted for passing through tunnels. |
