Summary:The device comprises three sign sub-units positioned on a screen. The first sub-unit (A1) consists of a middle column displaying the hours and containing seven signs. The second sub-unit (A2), displaying groups of 5 minutes, and consisting of two lateral columns on either side of the middle column, each comprising five signs. The third sub-unit (A3), displaying the minutes contains four signs in a line distributed in pairs either side of the middle column. The display device allows analogue display of the time, preferably by means of immovable electronic elements (display by light-emitting diodes, by liquid-crystal cells, etc.) whilst retaining a small number of signs.
