Summary:1,026,841. Transistor switching circuits. TELEMECANIQUE ELECTRIQUE. Jan. 14, 1963 [Jan. 18, 1962], No. 1670/63. Heading H3T. [Also in Divisions H1 and H2] Switching units for use in an electrical automatic control assembly (see Division H1) comprise transistorized single element switching circuits and multiple-input AND circuits, and OR circuits. Fig. 14 shows an AND circuit comprising three transistors T 1 , T 2 , T 3 in series, the bases of which are biased by potentials applied through resistors Z 1 , Z 2 , Z 3 for stabilizing transistor operation against temperature variations. Control voltages are applied at terminals D 1 , D 2 , D 3 through resistors R 1 , R 2 , R 3 . Input terminals E 1 , E 2 , E 3 and output terminals S are duplicated. Terminals 11 are for checking operation of the transistors. Fig. 12 shows a three-input OR circuit; a control signal applied to any of terminals D 1 , D 2 , D 3 through diodes G 1 , G 2 , G 3 and resistor R to the base of transistor T renders the emitter-collector path conductive.
