Summary:1342547 O - Acylated amino - alcohols JOUVEINAL SA 13 Jan 1972 [12 March 1971] 1659/72 Heading C2C O-Acylated amino-alcohols of the general formula wherein each of n, a and p is 0, 1, 2 or 3, R 1 is a hydrogen atom or alkyl group, R 2 is an alkyl group, Y is a halogen atom or a hydroxyl, nitro, alkyl or alkoxy group and X is an oxygen atom or NH group or is a direct bond, and acid addition salts thereof are prepared by effecting a transesterification between an ester of the general formula wherein R is a residue of an aliphatic alcohol, and an amino-alcohol, of higher molecular weight than RH, of the general formula followed optionally by salification of the product.
