The present invention relates to opaque lightly coloured thermoplastic moulding composition having improved long-term weathering stability as well as excellent optical appearance, especially high colour brilliance. The inventive thermoplastic moulding compositions includes the combination of an inorganic pigment and an organic soluble dye, wherein the inorganic pigment is selected from specific mixed metal oxides and mixed metal oxosulfides. The invention also relates to the process for producing the coloured moulding composition and to colouring compositions, such as masterbatches, which can be used for producing the coloured thermoplastic moulding composition. The invention further relates to opaque lightly coloured formed articles made from the inventive thermoplastic moulding composition, for example injection moulded articles and extruded articles. La présente invention concerne une masse à mouler thermoplastique opaque légèrement colorée présentant une stabilité aux intempéries améliorée à long terme ainsi qu'un excellent aspect optique, en particulier une brillance de couleur élevée. Les masses à mouler thermoplastiques de l'invention comprennent la combinaison d'un pigment inorganique et d'un colorant organique soluble, le pigment inorganique étant choisi parmi les oxydes métalliques mixtes spécifiques et les oxosulfures métalliques mixtes. L'invention concerne également le procédé de production de la masse à mouler colorée et des compositions colorantes, telles que les mélanges maîtres, qui peuvent être utilisées pour produire la masse à mouler thermoplastique colorée.
