Summary: | A surface wave processing platform for automated assessment of subsurface materials and corresponding methods. The platform includes data storage, a back-end module and a front-end module. The seismic data store is configured to store field seismic data obtained from seismic transducers. The back-end module is in communication with the seismic data storage and is configured to transform the field seismic data into processed seismic data and input the processed seismic data in a surface wave trained neural network. The surface wave trained neural network is trained on synthetic seismic data derived from historical seismic field data. The front-end module communicates with the back-end module and is configured to output an indication of a shear velocity of the subsurface materials. |
