The method includes attaching a first elongated member to the portion of the structure, receiving a second elongated member of a drilling assembly with the first elongated member, drilling into the structure with the drilling assembly while receiving the second elongated member with the first elongated member, and removing the portion of the structure that is attached to the first elongated member while urging the first elongated member with the second elongated member. L'invention concerne un procédé d'élimination d'une partie d'une structure. Le procédé comprend la fixation d'un premier élément allongé à la partie de la structure, la réception d'un second élément allongé d'un ensemble de forage avec le premier élément allongé, le perçage de la structure avec l'ensemble de forage tout en recevant le second élément allongé avec le premier élément allongé, et l'élimination de la partie de la structure qui est fixée au premier élément allongé tout en poussant le premier élément allongé avec le second élément allongé.
