Summary:The present invention relates to the use of a dihydroorotate dehydrogenase (DHODH) inhibitor for controlling phytopathogenic fungi in crops, wherein the phytopathogenic fungi contain a mutation in the mitochondrial cytochrome b gene conferring resistance to quinone-outside inhibitors (QoI) and/or a mutation in the SDH-B, SDH-C and/or SDH-D genes conferring resistance to succinate dehydrogenase inhibitors (SDHI).
