Summary:The invention relates to a marine craft having a hull (3) and comprising a system for detecting one or more marine mammals. The detection system comprises at least one sensor (2) for receiving acoustic signals and converting them into electric signals and an analysis system (1) configured to analyse the electric signals supplied by the at least one sensor. The at least one sensor (2) is coupled to the hull (3) on the inner side of the hull (3) to enable acoustic signals to be received through the hull (3). The invention also relates to a corresponding method. L'invention concerne un engin marin présentant une coque (3) et comprenant un système de détection d'un ou plusieurs mammifères marins. Ledit système de détection comprenant au moins un capteur (2) permettant de recevoir des signaux acoustiques et de les convertir en signaux électriques et un système d'analyse (1) configuré pour analyser les signaux électriques fournis par ledit au moins un capteur. Ledit au moins un capteur (2) est couplé à la coque (3) du côté intérieur de la coque (3) pour permettre de recevoir des signaux acoustiques par l'intermédiaire de la coque (3). L'invention concerne également un procédé correspondant.
