The invention relates to a value document (1, 9, 17, 26), comprising a plastic substrate (6, 14, 181, 30) having a first surface and a second surface, an opaque first ink-receiving layer (7, 15, 182, 31) provided with a cut-out being arranged on the first surface of the plastic substrate (6, 14, 181, 30) and a second opaque ink-receiving layer (8, 16, 183, 32) provided with a cut-out being arranged on the second surface of the plastic substrate, the two cut-outs forming a window region (3, 11, 19, 28) of the value document (1, 9, 17, 26), the first surface of the plastic substrate (6, 14, 181, 30) having a first colour thin-layer element (4, 12, 20, 29), in the region of the opaque first ink-receiving layer (7, 15, 182, 31) provided with a cut-out.
