L'invention concerne un procédé d'élimination de composés organiques solubles récalcitrants à partir d'eaux usées simultanément dans un traitement par boues activées comprenant un réservoir d'aération et une unité de séparation solide-liquide, au moins un coagulant métallique inorganique à base d'Al et/ou de Fe étant ajouté aux eaux usées dans le traitement par boues activées et/ou avant l'acheminement des eaux usées vers un traitement par boues activées.
