L'invention concerne plusieurs modes de réalisation de structures libérant de l'oxyde nitrique (NO). Dans certains modes de réalisation, les structures sont modifiées de manière covalente pour stocker et libérer l'oxyde nitrique. Certains modes de réalisation concernent des procédés de préparation et d'utilisation de ces structures. Les structures polymères modifiées de manière covalente peuvent être adaptées pour libérer de l'oxyde nitrique de manière contrôlée et sont utiles pour le traitement de diverses pathologies médicales.
