The ant-carbon dioxide (A-CO2) mask is a new generation of surgical masks that are anti-carbon dioxide because of their structure comprising a two-section internal layer and an external layer. The upper section covers the wearers nose and the lower section covers the wearer's mouth. To hold these sections, there is an elastic cord between them that is connected to the elastic cords surrounding the wearers ears. The structure of this mask allows for better protection against airborne viruses while also preventing the wearer from inhaling their carbon dioxide and their breath. The elastic cord in the internal layer prevents the masks from sliding toward the bottom of the face and prevents the wearer's glasses from steaming up. The external layer covers the internal layer. Le masque anti-dioxyde-de-carbone (Masque A.CØ2) est une nouvelle génération des masques chirurgicaux étant anti dioxyde de carbone grâce à sa structure composée d'une couche inteme qui possède deux sections, et d'une couche externe. La section du haut recouvre le nez du porteur, et la section du bas recouvre la bouche du porteur. Pour retenir ces sections, il y a un cordon élastique entre eux qui est relié aux cordons élastiques entourant les oreilles du porteur. La structure de ce masque permet une meilleure protection contre les virus contaminables par l'air, en empêchant également le porteur de respirer son dioxyde de carbone et son haleine. Le cordon élastique intégré dans la couche interne empêche le masque de glisser vers le bas du visage, et prévient la buée de se former sur les lunettes du porteur. La couche externe recouvre la couche interne.
