The present invention relates to a dental composition comprising a radically polymerizable compound, a redox initiator system comprising one or more clathrate compounds comprising a host molecule and one or more guest molecules, wherein the host molecule is selected from cyclodextrines, crown ethers, cucurbituriles and calixarenes and the one or more guest molecules are reducing agents, and an oxidizing agent. Furthermore, the present invention relates to a use of the redox initiator system in a dental composition. La présente invention concerne une composition dentaire comprenant un composé polymérisable par voie radicalaire, un système initiateur redox comprenant un ou plusieurs composés de clathrate comprenant une molécule hôte et une ou plusieurs molécules incluses, la molécule hôte étant choisie parmi les cyclodextrines, les éthers couronnes, les cucurbituriles et les calixarènes et la ou les molécules incluses étant des agents réducteurs, et un agent oxydant. En outre, la présente invention concerne une utilisation du système initiateur redox dans une composition dentaire.
