The "Twist Tack" and the "Twist Pin" are tack-like fasteners which have a grip and a helical thread running from the base of the grip down 1/4 of the shank. The remainder of the shank, ending at a sharp point, is smooth. These are fastening devices that suit jobs that require greater strength and warrant no more time or effort than a thumb tack or push pin but less tools, time, effort and destruction than a hammer and nail or screw and screwdriver. The "Sure Set Shank" describes the unique spike of the "Twist Tack" and the "Twist Pin" in which the first 1/4 of the shank from the point is smooth and the remaining % of the shank has a helical thread shape. This design improves placement, accuracy and fastness of the spike until the self-tapping helix thread has fastened to the target. The "Load Washer" is an accessory to the "Twist Tack" and the "Twist Pin" that protects the subject being secured by spreading the subjects own weight to four more attached points, increasing hold on the object being fastened and in turn the object to the surface material into which the "Twist Tack" and "Twist Pin" are being affixed to by redistributing the load over a larger surface, resulting in a more secure fix and adding a more finished look.
