Summary:Method, computer program product, and system to provide efficient processing of image data representing an environment comprising a plurality of items available for selection by one or more persons are described. The method includes receiving image data from a plurality of visual sensors, segmenting the image data into a plurality of image segments and classifying the data into predefined image categories. The method also includes identifying an image processing task having a predefined association with the first image category and executing the identified image processing task. Il est décrit un procédé, un programme informatique et un système pour fournir un traitement efficace de données dimages représentant un environnement qui comprend une pluralité darticles disponibles pour la sélection par au moins une personne. Le procédé comprend la réception de données dimages à partir dune pluralité de capteurs visuels, la segmentation des données dimages en une pluralité de segments dimages, et la classification des données en catégories dimages prédéfinies. Le procédé comprend également lidentification dune tâche de traitement dimages ayant une association prédéfinie avec la première catégorie dimages, ainsi que lexécution de la tâche de traitement dimages identifiée.
