La présente invention concerne un procédé de production d'un acide aminé L tel que L-lysine. Un acide L-aminé est produit par culture, dans un milieu de culture, de bactéries ayant une capacité de production d'acide L-aminé, les bactéries étant modifiées pour avoir L'activité d'enzyme de biosynthèse de caroténoïdes améliorée, et la collecte d'un acide L-aminé à partir du milieu de culture.
