Summary:A surgical handpiece nosecone having an end overmold portion and/or an internal overmold portion. The end overmold portion is located at an end of the nosecone and compressed between the surgical handpiece housing and nosecone. The internal overmold portion is positioned radially about the nosecone on the inner surface to provide a fluid tight seal that prevents ingress of irrigation fluid into the housing. Un embout de manche chirurgical a une partie surmoulée d'extrémité et/ou une partie surmoulée interne. La partie de surmoulage d'extrémité est située à l'extrémité de l'embout et est comprimée entre le boîtier du manche chirurgicale et l'embout. La partie surmoulée interne est perpendiculaire a l'embout sur la surface interne et fournit un joint étanche aux liquides qui empêche l'entrée de liquides d'irrigation dans le boîtier.
