The fuse element assembly includes at least a first conductive plate and a second conductive plate (302-310) respectively connecting the first and second conductive terminals, and a plurality of separately provided wire bonded weak spots (312) interconnecting the first conductive plate and the second conductive plate. L'invention porte sur un fusible de puissance qui comprend un boîtier, des première et seconde bornes conductrices (204, 206) s'étendant à partir du boîtier, et au moins un ensemble élément fusible résistant à l'usure (208) connecté entre les première et seconde bornes. L'ensemble élément fusible comprend au moins une première plaque conductrice et une seconde plaque conductrice (302-310) connectant respectivement les première et seconde bornes conductrices, et une pluralité de points faibles (312) soudés par fil, disposés séparément, interconnectant la première plaque conductrice et la seconde plaque conductrice.
