A pipe coupling for plain end pipe is formed of segments joined end to end surrounding a central space. The segments are connected end to end by lugs on each segment with fasteners extending between them. Each segment has channels on opposite sides that face the central space with floors at different radii. Retainers are received within the channels. The retainers have teeth and one or more offset tabs that cooperate with the channels to prevent improper assembly. A ring seal is received within a channel positioned in each segment between the retainer channels. La présente invention concerne un raccord de tuyaux qui est conçu pour un tuyau d'extrémité lisse et est constitué de segments raccordés bout à bout entourant un espace central. Les segments sont raccordés bout à bout par des pattes sur chaque segment avec des attaches s'étendant entre eux. Chaque segment présente des canaux sur des côtés opposés qui font face à l'espace central avec des planchers à différents rayons. Des dispositifs de retenue sont reçus à l'intérieur des canaux. Les dispositifs de retenue comportent des dents et une ou plusieurs languettes décalées qui coopèrent avec les canaux pour empêcher un assemblage inapproprié. Un joint annulaire est reçu dans un canal positionné dans chaque segment entre les canaux d'élément de retenue.
