Summary:The present invention describes an axial pump for pumping liquid metal, the axial pump comprising an inlet for receiving liquid, at least one rotor, the rotor comprising a rotor hub and a plurality of rotor blades positioned thereon, a stator, comprising a stator hub and a plurality of stator vanes, and an outlet for discharging the liquid metal, the pump being adapted for providing efficient pumping while reducing or avoiding erosion of the pump by the liquid metal. La présente invention concerne une pompe axiale destinée au pompage de métal liquide, la pompe axiale comprenant une entrée destinée à recevoir un liquide, au moins un rotor, le rotor comprenant un moyeu de rotor et une pluralité d'aubes de rotor situées sur ce dernier, un stator, comprenant un moyeu de stator et une pluralité d'aubes de stator, et un orifice de sortie destiné à refouler le métal liquide, la pompe étant conçue pour assurer un pompage efficace tout en réduisant ou empêchant une érosion de la pompe par le métal liquide.
