L'invention concerne un appareil et un procédé pour appliquer une texture par décharge électrique (electro discharge texture - EDT) à une feuille en aluminium, présentant une cage de laminage pourvue d'au moins un rouleau à surface EDT pouvant laminer la feuille à des réductions < 1 %. Le laminage est effectué avec lubrification résiduelle ou sans aucune lubrification et confère une texture sur l'échelle d'environ 1 pm à la surface de la feuille à une faible force de laminage.
