A system for milking a group of milking animals comprises an accommodation space for the animals. Several milking stations are each arranged at a fixed location and next to each other and each comprise an entry opening for entry of an animal from the accommodation space to said milking station. The system comprises an automatic milking system, which is configured to milk an animal in a milking station automatically on condition that said milking animal fulfils a predefined milking criterion. The system comprises no expulsion means and/or attraction means which can be activated by a control unit and are configured to give a milking animal which has been milked by the milking system in a milking station a stimulus to leave said milking station. L'invention concerne un système de traite d'un groupe d'animaux laitiers comprenant un espace d'accueil des animaux.
