La présente invention concerne un procédé pour la formation d'un manchon (50) sur un récipient (10) comprenant les étapes suivantes: la mise à disposition d'un récipient ayant un manchon rétractable épousant la forme du récipient, le manchon rétractable ayant une partie amovible prédéterminée (100); l'utilisation d'un grattoir (130) se déplaçant de manière tangentielle par rapport à la partie amovible prédéterminée; et le retrait de la partie amovible prédéterminée par la mise en contact du grattoir avec la partie amovible prédéterminée.
