L'invention concerne un wagon de marchandises et un système à patin adaptateur à placer entre un palier à roulement et une surface de base pour glissière latérale d'un wagon de marchandises en trois pièces. Différentes propriétés du patin et/ou de l'interface patin adaptateur sont conçues pour améliorer les caractéristiques de rigidité en vue de satisfaire aux performances en virage et à haute vitesse du wagon de marchandises.
