Summary:A carton, a blank and a method for forming a carton. The carton is for containing at least one article, such as a food or beverage product, and comprises at least one protection feature for protecting the article or articles from breakage. The carton comprises a plurality of panels that extends at least partially around an interior of the carton. At least two end flaps are respectively foldably connected to respective panels of the plurality of panels. The end flaps at least partially overlap to close an end of the carton. The end flaps include indentations which form protrusions on opposing surfaces of the flaps that combine to form a pocket in the overlapped end flaps wherein the pocket provides cushioning of the at least one article. Un carton, une ébauche et une méthode servent à former un carton. Le carton sert à contenir au moins un article, comme un aliment ou un produit de boisson, et comprend au moins une fonctionnalité de protection servant à protéger du bris larticle ou les articles. Le carton comprend une pluralité de panneaux qui se prolonge au moins partiellement autour dun intérieur du carton. Au moins deux rabats dextrémité sont reliés respectivement de manière pliante aux panneaux respectifs de la pluralité de panneaux. Les rabats dextrémité se chevauchent au moins partiellement pour fermer une extrémité du carton. Les rabats dextrémité comprennent des indentations qui forment des saillies sur les surfaces opposées des rabats qui se combinent pour former une pochette dans les rabats dextrémité chevauchés où la pochette fournit le coussinage du au moins un article.
