Summary:The invention proposes a coding method with differentiated protection which makes it possible to protect, with a different protection efficiency, a number of groups of data in a frame to be transmitted. The invention is based for that on the use of a correcting code of the LDPC type concatenated with an algebraic correcting code. The invention also proposes a decoding method compatible with the coding method with differentiated protection. Il est décrit une méthode de codage à protection différenciée qui permet de protéger, avec un rendement de protection différent, plusieurs groupes de données dans une trame à émettre. Pour ce faire, il convient dutiliser un code correcteur du type vérification de parité à faible densité concaténé avec un code correcteur algébrique. Il est également décrit une méthode de décodage compatible avec la méthode de codage à protection différenciée.
