L'invention concerne des procédés de production de semences hybrides utilisant des croisements 3-phylétiques entre la lignée femelle, le mainteneur et la lignée mâle, particulièrement les lignées restauratrices, dans lesquels le trait est introduit dans la lignée femelle uniquement au stade de la production basique des semences via le croisement de la lignée femelle avec un mainteneur contenant le gène ou les gènes codant pour le trait à l'état homozygote.
