L'invention concerne un objet à forme sans fin comprenant au moins une bande de matériau formant une pluralité de convolutions de la bande de matériau, la bande ayant un axe longitudinal, chaque convolution de ladite bande comprenant une torsion le long de l'axe longitudinal de ladite bande, ladite torsion étant un multiple impair de 180 degrés. L'invention concerne aussi une méthode de fabrication dudit objet, et son utilisation comme élingue, boucle, sangle ou maillon de chaîne.
