The invention provides pharmaceutical compositions containing a vehicle for the targeted delivery of therapeutic and diagnostic agents for the treatment of hyperproliferative diseases. The targeting component of the vehicle is a cystine molecule that is coupled to the cargo component, which can be either a therapeutic or diagnostic agent or to a nanoparticle composition that contains the therapeutic agent or diagnostic. The invention also provides methods of treating hyperproliferative disorders by targeting hyperproliferative disease cells for the targeted delivery of a therapeutic or diagnostic agent. La présente invention concerne des compositions pharmaceutiques contenant un vecteur pour l'administration ciblée d'agents thérapeutiques et diagnostiques dans le traitement de maladies hyperprolifératives. Le composant de ciblage du vecteur est une molécule de cystine couplée au composant de transport, qui peut être un agent thérapeutique ou diagnostique, ou à une composition de nanoparticules qui contient ledit agent thérapeutique ou diagnostique.
