Summary: | The present invention provides an improved method for manufacturing high quality porous crystalline MCM-56 material. It also relates to the MCM-56 material manufactured by the improved method, catalyst compositions comprising same and use thereof in a process for catalytic conversion of hydrocarbon compounds. One such conversion process involves production of monoalkylated aromatic compounds, particularly ethylbenzene and cumene, by the liquid or partial liquid phase alkylation of alkylatable aromatic compound, particularly benzene.
Cette invention concerne un procédé amélioré de fabrication d'un matériau de MCM-56 cristallin poreux de qualité élevée. Elle concerne également ledit matériau de MCM-56 fabriqué par le procédé amélioré selon l'invention, des compositions de catalyseurs le contenant et son utilisation dans un procédé de conversion catalytique de composés hydrocarbonés. Un de ces procédés de conversion implique la production de composés aromatiques monoalkylés, en particulier, d'éthylbenzène et de cumène, par alkylation en phase liquide ou en phase liquide partielle d'un composé aromatique alkylable, en particulier, le benzène. |
