Summary:Disclosed are an epitope specific to hepatitis B virus (HBV) and use thereof. The disclosed epitope is a conservative position on which mutagenesis does not occur and, therefore, a composition including an antibody to the foregoing epitope or a vaccine composition including the epitope has very low possibility of causing degradation of curing efficacy due to HBV mutation, thus being very useful for HBV treatment. Cette invention concerne un épitope spécifique du virus de l'hépatite B (VHB) et son utilisation. L'épitope décrit est une position conservative sans risque de mutagenèse et, par conséquent, une composition contenant un anticorps dirigé contre l'épitope précité ou une composition vaccinale contenant l'épitope selon l'invention a une très faible chance de provoquer une dégradation de l'efficacité de guérison due à une mutation du VHB, s'avérant ainsi très utile pour le traitement du VHB.
