Summary:An embodiment of the present techniques provides a method of injecting a particulate mixture into a target location. The method includes forming a mixture of at least two sources of particles with different size distributions wherein the mixture of solids has a permeability in a predefined range. A water content of the mixture is varied to control the rheology of the mixture. The particles are injected through one or more pipes into a target location. Selon un mode de réalisation, l'invention concerne un procédé d'injection d'un mélange particulaire dans un emplacement cible. Le procédé consiste à former un mélange d'au moins deux sources de particules ayant des distributions de tailles différentes, le mélange de solides ayant une perméabilité se situant dans une plage prédéterminée. Le contenu en eau du mélange est ajusté afin d'en réguler la rhéologie. Les particules sont injectées par le biais d'un ou de plusieurs tubes dans l'emplacement cible.
