Summary:A brewed beverage appliance uses a specialized pre-packaged beverage container and a related method of brewing a beverage. The container comprises a cup- shaped base having openings at the bottom. A plurality of roasted, whole coffee beans are contained therein. The appliance has a blade that punctures the cup and then grinds the beans while they are still in the cup. Heated water is delivered to the cup and passes through the ground coffee causing brewed coffee to emit from the openings in the bottom of the cup and into a container such as a coffee mug. L'invention porte sur un appareil de boisson infusée, lequel appareil utilise un récipient de boisson préemballée spécialisé et sur un procédé associé pour infuser une boisson. Le récipient comprend une base en forme de coupelle ayant des ouvertures au fond. Une pluralité de fèves de café entières torréfiées sont contenues à l'intérieur de celui-ci. L'appareil a une lame qui perce la coupelle et qui moud les fèves tandis qu'elles sont toujours dans la coupelle. De l'eau chauffée est délivrée à la coupelle et traverse le café moulu, provoquant l'émission de café infusé à partir des ouvertures dans le fond de la coupelle et dans un récipient tel qu'un gobelet à café.
