Summary:The invention relates to a support plate and a securing element comprising said type of support plate, having a minimum weight and optimum rigidity and which is also suitable for supporting an elastic intermediate layer. According to the invention, said claimed support plate for securing a rail (S) to a solid foundation (2) is made of a plastic material and has a reinforced structure (3s) which is formed on the underside (U) of said support plate (3) associated with the solid foundation (2), said reinforced structure being formed from ribs (3t) and recesses (3u) which are arranged therebetween. The claimed recesses of the reinforced structure (3s) are closed by a filling material (T).
