Summary:A door assembly includes a fixed door panel constructed and arranged to be fixed in a door opening and a sliding door panel constructed and arranged to be slidably movable relative to the fixed door panel between (1) a closed position and (2) an open position. Each door panel includes a glass panel, and a frame including a vertical frame member constructed and arranged to surround at least a portion of the vertical edge of the glass panel. At least one of the vertical frame members includes an end portion having an angled surface extending inwardly towards the glass panel. As a result of movement of the sliding door panel, the end portion of the at least one vertical frame member at least partially overlaps another of the vertical frame members.
