Summary:A method of controlling a display of an electronic device for displaying a list of electronic messages. The method includes comparing a width of a designated space for a field of the electronic messages to a minimum width to determine if the width is sufficient, and if the width is determined to be sufficient, maintaining the width of the designated space, otherwise increasing the width of the designated space. Procédé permettant de commander l'affichage d'un dispositif électronique pour afficher une liste de messages électroniques. Le procédé comprend les étapes consistant à comparer une largeur d'un espace indiqué pour un champ des messages électroniques à une largeur minimum afin de déterminer si la largeur est suffisante puis, si celle-ci est déterminée comme suffisante, à maintenir la largeur de l'espace indiqué, et dans le cas contraire, à augmenter la largeur de l'espace indiqué.
