The cementing composition includes calcium aluminate, water, and a lightweight additive having a specific gravity of less than about 0.70. L'invention porte sur des procédés permettant d'effectuer des opérations de cimentation dans une zone souterraine dans des conditions de température élevée, ces procédés consistant à former une composition de cimentation dont la densité est inférieure à environ 10,5 livres par gallon, pomper la composition de cimentation dans la zone souterraine par le puits de forage et laisser prendre dans celle-ci la composition de cimentation. La composition de cimentation comprend un aluminate de calcium, de l'eau et un additif léger dont la gravité spécifique est inférieure à environ 0,70.
