Summary:The present invention relates to a cover cap (6) for an assembly (5) comprising two ends (4), which are electrically conductively connected to one another, of two winding bars (3) of a stator of an electrical machine, comprising an electrically insulating housing (7), which sheaths the assembly (5) in the installed state, such that its circumference is closed. In order to make it easier to fit the cover cap (6) to the assembly (5), the cover cap (6) has a spring device (8) which is arranged in the interior of the housing (7) and is designed such that the housing (7) can be plugged onto the assembly (5) for installation, and which, when in the installed state, is supported on the one hand on the assembly (5) and on the other hand on the housing (7), and in the process produces a holding force (11) which fixes the housing (7) to the assembly (5) .
