Summary:A pharmaceutical or veterinary composition comprises a hyaluronic acid or a salt thereof or an ester of hyaluronic acid with an alcohol of the aliphatic, heterocyclic or cycloaliphatic series, or a sulphated form of hyaluronic acid, together with at least one eicosanoid or tetraenoic polyunsaturated fatty acid or an ester or a salt thereof, preferably in the form of an extract of fatty acids from the New Zealand Green Lipped Mussel Perna canaliculus. The compositions are active against inflammatory conditions including osteoarthritis.
