A gas regulating fitting which, once a gas stove has been successfully started up, can switch the pilot burner into the off position when the main burner is in the off position. The gas regulating fitting comprises a sensor for detecting the operating state of the main burner. The sensor is connected to a thermoelectric safety pilot valve such that, when the operating state of the main burner is switched from the on position into the off position by a signal emitted from the sensor, the thermoelectric safety pilot valve assumes the closed position. The thermoelectric safety pilot valve is disposed between a gas pilot outlet and a main gas outlet. The thermoelectric safety pilot valve can be used to cut off gas to both a pilot light and a main burner, while a main valve does not interrupt the flow of gas to the pilot light. L'invention a pour but d'obtenir un robinet de régulation de gaz qui, une fois la mise en service effectuée du four de chauffage au gaz, lorsqu'on est en position <= arrêt >= du brûleur principal,également le brûleur d'allumage passe en position <= arrêt >=, en vue de maintenir la consommation d'énergie du four la plus basse possible. L'invention a pour but d'obtenir un robinet de régulation de gaz d'une construction aussi simple que possible. A cet effet, l'invention est caractérisée en ce que le robinet de régulation de gaz présente un détecteur (34) permettant de détecter l'état de fonctionnement du brûleur principal (33), du fait que le détecteur (34) est connecté avec une soupape de sécurité d'allumage thermoélectrique (17), de telle façon qu'en passant de la position <= marche >= à la position <= arrêt >=, ladite soupape de sécurité (17) vient en sa position de fermeture, consécutivement à un signal émis par le détecteur (34). Le robinet de régulation de gaz peut être utilisé pour l'allumage et pour le réglage d'un courant de gaz alimentant un brûleur.
