Summary:Polymer mixtures giving injection mouldings with a surface roughness (R z) of at least 0.7 micron and a 60[deg] gloss value of not more than 40 contain an acrylic matrix polymer, a crosslinked acrylic impact modifier and plastic particles (crosslinked acrylic, polystyrene or silicone) with an average particle size of 1-30 microns. Polymer mixtures (I) containing (a) a matrix consisting of (meth)acrylate (co)polymer(s) with a Vicat softening point (VSP; ISO 306-B50) of at least 104[deg]C and/or a (meth)acrylimide (co)polymer, (b) an impact modifier based on crosslinked poly(meth)acrylates and not covalently bonded to (a), and (c) 1-15 wt% plastic particles with an average particle size of 1-30 microns consisting of crosslinked polymers based on polymethyl methacrylate, polystyrene and/or silicone polymer. Injection moulded test pieces made from (I) show a surface roughness (Rz; DIN 4768) of at least 0.7 micron, a 60[deg] gloss value ( DIN 67530) of not more than 40 and a VSP of at least 90[deg]C. Independent claims are also included for (1) a method for the production of injection mouldings from (I) (2) injection mouldings made from (I).
