The hood protector region is constructed for extending across at least a portion of a vehicle hood for protecting the vehicle hood. The attachment region is constructed for attaching the hood protector region to a vehicle. Also provided is a method of installing the shield to a motor vehicle. Un écran de capot est présenté conformément à l'invention. L'écran de capot est conçu pour éviter le battement excessif du capot. L'écran comprend une zone de protection de capot et une zone de fixation. La zone de protection de capot est conçue pour s'étendre perpendiculairement à au moins une portion du capot d'un véhicule pour protéger le capot du véhicule. La zone de fixation est conçue pour fixer la zone de protection de capot à un véhicule. Une méthode d'installation de l'écran à un véhicule à moteur est également présentée.
