Summary:Processes for the production of a stabilised vaccine composition of labile immunogens, wherein a fluid comprising one or more immunogens is sprayed int o a reactor containing fluidised particles of a pharmaceutically acceptable water soluble material at a temperature of about 25 ~C to about 50 ~C, such that the immunogen coats and is dried onto the particles under the fluidisin g conditions, and thereafter collecting from said reactor dried immunogen containing particles having a moisture content between about 0.1 % w/w to about 10 % w/w are described. Also described are stabilised vaccine compositions of labile immunogens.
