Summary:A method for producing polyolefin-based adhesive resins having improved physical and optical properties and the improved adhesive. resins thereby produced, eliminates at least one reheating and melting of polyolefin polyme r, comprises polymerizing a monomer composition of at least one olefin, mixing the polymerization product without pelletizing the polyolefin polymer with a t least one graft polymer or copolymer in a heated mixing device at a temperature above the melting point of the components, and recovering the resulting polyolefin-based adhesive resin.
