Summary:The invention relates to a hydrodynamic axial slide bearing (26) for a generator (10) that can preferably be driven by a water turbine. Said generator comprises a rotor (12), a bearing race (30) that rotates along with the shaft (20) of the rotor (12) and a bearing segment (32) that does not rotate with the shaft (20) of the rotor (12) and is supported on a bearing housing (24). The invention is characterised in that the bearing race (30) essentially consists of a synthetic material matrix, containing embedded reinforcement fibres. L'invention concerne un palier à glissement axial (26) destiné à un générateur (10) entraîné de préférence par une turbine hydraulique. Ledit générateur est composé d'un rotor (12), d'une bague de roulement (30) tournant avec l'arbre (20) du rotor (12), et d'un segment de palier (32) ne tournant pas avec l'arbre (20) du rotor (12), s'appuyant sur un carter de palier (24). Le palier à glissement axial selon l'invention est caractérisé en ce que la bague de roulement (30) est essentiellement constituée d'une matrice plastique contenant des fibres de renfort intégrées.
