Novel 1-aryl-3-cya no- 5-heteroarylalkylaminopyrazole derivatives represented by general formula (1 ), A: formulae (A-1), (A-2), (A-3), (A-4) wherein X represents N or C-halogeno; R1 represents alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl or haloalkyl; R2 represents hydrogen, alkyl or acyl; R3 represents hydrogen or alkyl; A represents one of the grou ps represented above by A-1 to A-4; R4 represents hydrogen, alkyl or halogeno; and n is 0, 1 or 2, provided that R1 is haloalkyl (other than perhaloalkyl) when A is A-1 and n is 0, and that n is not 0 when A is A-4.
